Trillian Astra, after being developed for quite some time, finally went gold last weekend (Build 117). Trillian Astra is another multi instant messaging application that supports MSN (Windows Live Messenger), AOL, Yahoo, Google Talk, ICQ, Skype, MySpace, IRC, and a lot more. I used Trillian Astra during its beta testing phase some months ago and it looks awesome. It feels a bit bloated but maybe it is because of the default skin and the hundreds of features it has?
If you are in search for the ultimate IM application, you might want to try Trillian Astra if you don’t like Digsby or Pidgin. Trillian Astra has both free and commercial versions but the free version should satisfy most users.
