The “top commentator” widget was a way to encourage people to comment on your blog by giving a link on the frontpage to the site of the commentor. There seems to be a bit of a backlash to it since the link loophole product was released that hacked into the plug in.

What is the “top commentator” widget? I’ve never heard of it before but I’m certainly interested.

Deimos from ahkong.net found that the links in other pages are still do follows (even though I’ve checked that the plug-in worked correctly). I suspect it had something to do with installing super-cache on my blog, but I didn’t want to take any more chances, so I took it out completely

I should have followed you long time ago But again, I didn’t regret putting the widget on. I guess it was needed to attract comments when there were less people knew about this blog
