In Melbourne, this week will be the hottest week in a century with the temperatures predicted to be in top 40 degrees of celcius every day *ugh*.
Usually we would never have hot days in a row during the summer. Not too sure what’s causing this but we did have a late start of Summer this year.
Times like this, there will be plenty of bush fires and some elderly collapsing because of the heat. Not too mention the poor tennis players playing on the Australian Open.
Wish I have an air conditioner at home. Alas, a small old fan and a big bowl of ice cubes are my only solution to the soaring heat in my bedroom 
Is the planet really dying? The weather is getting more bizarre every year here (and in other parts of the planet too).

Yikes that’s hot. Here in South Africa it also gets pretty hot but normally a maximum of about 30 to 34C. Things get very uncomfortable when the temperature goes above 40, I feel sorry for you.
