Razer Megasoma Review

Razer Megasoma is a hybrid of a hard and a soft mouse mat; If you love the softness of a soft mat but want to have the speed of a hard mat, Razer Megasoma delivers (this is debatable and I guess more like a personal preference). Razer Megasoma sits somewhere in between, combining the best [...]

Google Calendar

With the latest update on Google Calendar, you can now see and be notified when your contact is having a birthday through Google Calendar. Not just that, you can even subscribe to your favorite sports’ events all over the world! These are great new features especially if you use Google Calendar to keep track of your appointments and things to do. I often use Google Calendar to notify me of certain events or things that I need to do (either through an email or a free SMS) so this additional features receive an exciting nod from me.

How to enable sport events schedule on Google Calendar

Once you login to your Google Calendar, you will see the new link on the top that says “New: Sports Calendar”:

Google Calendar for Sports

Click on it and you can then choose the sport events that you want Google Calendar to display and keep a track on:

Subscribe to Sport events calendar

Subscribe to Soccer - Football events calendar

How to enable contacts’ birthday notification on Google Calendar

Similar like above, but click on the “More” instead of “Sports”.

Google Calendar notify contact birthday

Easy! Unfortunately, I’m not a Sport fans but I certainly love having my contacts’ birthday on Google Calendar. The only remaining problem is that I need to sync (or add) my friends’ birthday into my Gmail’s contacts…

Well it’s kinda funny. If you go to those pagerank checker sites, this blog still has a PageRank 3. But if I use the Firefox extension, it’ll show zero.

I checked and it’s because the www has a Pagerank 0 and the one without has a Pagerank 3 :(

Not sure what’s happening.. I’ve tried using 301 on the htaccess like others suggested though

Cool! It’s about time Google Calendar had this feature. Notification by free SMS sounds very nice. Three cheers for Google Calendar! :D

That is great – I’m going to see if they have my favorite football team on the calendar. I live by Google calendar. Just when I would normally forget something, I get an email, “Buy present!” or “Pay taxes!” I’m usually not glad to *see* the email, but I’m glad not to forget whatever it was I had to do.
