Razer Megasoma Review

Razer Megasoma is a hybrid of a hard and a soft mouse mat; If you love the softness of a soft mat but want to have the speed of a hard mat, Razer Megasoma delivers (this is debatable and I guess more like a personal preference). Razer Megasoma sits somewhere in between, combining the best [...]

September 2009 traffic statistics

It’s probably the best month that this blog has ever had (traffic and recognition wise); 42,413 unique visitors with 56,191 pageviews, chosen as one of the Best Geek blog finalists in Asia Pacific, the first community spotlight at BlogEngage, invited to the Famous Blogger Club, and today I met Sabrina from Rantang for an opportunity to blog there.

Traffic details:

  • Referring sites – 19,908 visits.
  • Search Engines – 18,563 visits.
  • Direct Traffic –3,942 visits.

Total money made online in September 2009:$116.71

Referring Sites Breakdown

September 2009 Referring Sites

Thanks to StumbleUpon, I got around 12,000 visitors alone for the Waking up in the morning joke (an actually very old post but still got nice stumbles every now and then).

Money made online in September 2009

I finally made a few dollars out of Amazon (about 9 products ordered) after I promoted it a bit heavier to my review posts (basically put a nice Amazon widget plug-in after the review posts). I’ll write a nice post about the plug-in some time this week so you can try it for yourself too.

September 2009 Post Highlights

So yeah, it’s been a great month! How about you guys?

You definitely deserve more than this. Try selling monthly ad spots or something to get you a bit more money.

If I can get to 50,000 traffic constantly every month, I can apply for TribalFusion. People say they pay good

Megaphase.info 6 October, 2009 at 5:39 am

Apply for tribal fusion soon, and do a little more promoting/posting. Try to get a more of those funny joke articles on DIGG or stumble upon

I also looking forward to apply for tribalfusion. But we at least need to have 5k unique visitors per day. That’s mean at least 150k unique visitors a month! That’s a long way for both of us… But I hope we can get that much of traffic one day. :-)

It’s amazing you can get so much traffic – you must be doing *something* right, hehe. Whatever it is, I hope you can keep momentum and have an even better September month.

Now you just need to get your earnings up. I’m sure, with that many visits, you can make a lot more than you currently do.

Well honestly speaking I’m not doing a great job at SEO and link building. It’s more like writing a post that I knew would be useful to others, and the post plays its own role somehow

Keep doing the things you are doing when you had so much traffic. That’s a sign that you’re on the right track. Good luck! You can do it.

I expect you to earn more from Google Adsense. But don’t know why you are getting less for this much of good traffic.

Well most are like a once-off traffic to my blog (search engines). They got what they want, they left :[
