Razer Megasoma Review

Razer Megasoma is a hybrid of a hard and a soft mouse mat; If you love the softness of a soft mat but want to have the speed of a hard mat, Razer Megasoma delivers (this is debatable and I guess more like a personal preference). Razer Megasoma sits somewhere in between, combining the best [...]

Read Free Magazine OnlineThanks to Steve from MyTechQuest.com, I was introduced to this site where you can read your favorite magazine online for free. Call me a cheapskate, but I won’t let a chance like this slipped by :) You don’t even need to register to read the magazines!

You can find almost all sort of popular magazines on this site: PC Gamer, PC World, Cosmopolitan, Time, Men’s Health, and many more!

Not just magazines, though. Mygazines.com offers free catalogues and brochures too.

The best thing of Mygazines.com, you don’t have to register to start reading your favorite magazine for free. Simply select your magazine from the category or through the search feature and you can start reading in less than a minute away!

You cannot download the magazines because of the copyright, but you can view it on the site through its Flash-based magazine reader, which is cool and easy to use. I’m not too sure about why it’s ok to read the magazines online but not downloading it. Isn’t it the same? I guess I can never understand copyright issues.

Easy to use reader

If you register, you will “unlock” other features on the site and also the ability to upload your own brochures or catalogues. If you own a business or an online shop, it may worth to upload yours here to market your business.

So what are you waiting for? Stop reading this post and start reading the mygazines, err, I mean magazines at mygazines.com! (while the site still lasts, if it actually breaches copyright).

Wee.. They have Marie Claire too! Thanks for sharing, Michael. Magazines are so expensive nowadays. It’s been one year since I last bought Cleo, Marie Claire, etc.

No problem :)

I’m not a type who can enjoy reading long articles on computer screen though, so I probably won’t spend hours reading the magazines there

Nice find. I know what you are saying about reading online. I prefer print also. But I did just get stuck there a while. A lot of nice design and art magazines in the mix.

Thanks for the pick! That’s what I meant by useful post :D
Really great. However I really hope someone writes some prog or something to make it downloadable. If they made it with youtube, this one can be no problem ;)
Btw, is it legal? Or should I expect to see that the whole site will be gone someday, when the magazines find this out?

That’s a good question, as I don’t know the answer. I read somewhere (either on the site or on a review site), that it is still legal to read online, but not to download it. I don’t know what’s the difference or whether this is true, though

Maybe it’s like some Russian site that uses English – America can’t sue any other country for what they’re doing. I read that they read the seventh Harry Potter book online a month before it was published here, and nobody could do anything. Same thing with movies – you can buy them there even before they come out in theatres here.

But yeah, it’s still confusing why they wouldn’t let you download, if you can read it – same copyright. I guess it’s because if a magazine does decide to sue them, they’ll have to remove it – but what if hundreds of people already downloaded the magazine before it was removed? It’s just like with YouTube – it’s scared to put the download feature because then you can download everything before it’s removed by Fox, Walt Disney or whichever company!

Of course, you can still download from YouTube nowadays! In FLV format through the internet, though you can get a free program that downloads it for you in WMV format! Anyways, still pretty cool, though like you said, I don’t spend hours reading stuff on the internet. Unless it’s a blog! Like yours! :D
