OPPO announced the R7 and R7 Plus smartphones

Oppo R7 and R7 Plus

OPPO launched their official products in Australia with great flagship phones like the Find 7 last year. Though many of us here in Australia may not have heard about OPPO, there is no denying fact that they make great smartphones like the other brands we know of.

A few days ago in Beijing, OPPO announced the new OPPO R7 and R7 Plus – which will make it to Australia in the next few months.

OPPO R7 metallic body features a great, new design that only weighs around 148 grams and enables the entire body to act as the antenna for the entire phone. That alone should boost a stronger reception signal.

Oppo mobileInsired by the violin, OPPO design team has come up with a “violin arc” design to allow the phone to fit comfortably in your hand. As far as power goes, OPPO R7 is powered by 8-core 64-bit 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor and a massive 3GB of RAM. It also has a dual-SIM support but you can use the second SIM slot to fit in a microSD card to further expand your storage if you want to.

Like the Find 7, OPPO’s VOOC flash charging system allows rapid charging on the phone. A 5-minute charging, for example, gives you a further 2 hours of call conversations.

The R7 Plus offers a 6-inch display screen with larger capacity battery obviously, and also an advanced laser focus features. There are no pricing or official release date in Australia just yet (apart from a couple of months), so stay tuned on that if you are interested in these phones.
