Official Battlefield 4 launch trailer and gameplay

Battlefield 4[6]

Battlefield 4 screenshots and low-quality trailer were leaked earlier today, hours ahead before the official revelation. Although in the end, we find that the low quality video trailer couldn’t do justice to the real deal and we’ve also rewarded with an extra 17 minutes of Battlefield 4 gameplay video (single player, obviously).

Through the video, we could get a taste of what’s coming and the Frostbite 3 engine which powers the upcoming Battlefield 4. Textures look crisp and everything has been bumped up (real-looking forest, swaying banner, etc). Some are complaining that the graphics don’t look much different though and that it should be called Battlefield 3.5 instead.

Well, I’ll let you be the judge of the trailer, which I think is awesome:

If you like it, you may also want to have a watch at the 17 minutes of Battlefield 4 gameplay video:

Unfortunately, there are not much details about the engine just yet and also no Battlefield 4 multiplayer gameplay to be seen. I’m sure they will be added as time goes along to market and get people to pre-order (which is what I’m going to do).

Battlefield is expected to be released some time this Fall (U.S) or Spring, if you are living in Australia.

Are you excited for Battlefield 4?
