Mozilla Firefox 3 Browser
There’s an update to Mozilla Firefox browser, tagged version 3.0.6. If you are using one, simply go to Help->Check for updates to start updating your Firefox. Or I guess you can just wait until it automatically notifies you of a new update.

  • Fixed several security issues.
  • Fixed several stability issues.
  • In previous versions of Firefox, some users experienced a problem where parts of the screen were not properly displaying after Firefox was open for long periods of time.

  • Removed the client user ID from crash reports.
  • Fixed issues with the display of some Indic scripts.
  • See the Firefox 3.0.5 release notes for changes in previous releases.
  • Other complete list of bugs fixed.

I upgraded yesterday. After the last upgrade I started having problems with FireFox hanging for a few minutes when I used the scrollbar a bit too often. This was an intermittent problem and did not occur all the time. I hope this upgrade has sorted it out, whatever it was.

Wow, so much improvement on this one. My FireFox automatically updates whenever there’s an update available, so I’m probably on this version already. Where do I check which version I’m using?

Simply go to “Help” -> About Mozilla Firefox and you can see your version there

Hmm funny.. Firefox has been the most stable browser that I have so far. Perhaps it’s one of your add-ons?
