Mozilla Firefox 10 has officially gone live and now available to download (on the release/stable channel). To those who are using Firefox as their primary browser, you can either download it straight from Mozilla Firefox website or go to your Help->About Firefox on Firefox to upgrade your version.
What’s new in Firefox 10 (Firefox 10 changelog)
- The “missing” forward button. It’s actually a feature to save your toolbar space and will auto-appear if you ever perform a Back operation.
- Most add-ons will now be compatible by default on every new Firefox version (so you don’t have to do the Firefox trick to make extensions compatible)
- For other Firefox 10 changelog, check out Firefox 10 release notes.

Oh! its such a relief to know that most add-ons will now be compatible by default. I was starting to get really annoyed with the frequency of updates and add-on incompatibility issues.

Indeed Adeline it is really a big relief but there are still a few things that Firefox need to work on.

Agreed Adeline,
Its great to hear as my SEO toolbar doesn’t work on the last version of Firefox!
Thanks for sharing Michael, i appreciate it.

Even the Firefox is good but I prefer to use Google Chrome. Aren’t there any chrome updates?

Had not used Firefox for a while due to problems with prior versions (numerous crashes which often got worse with newer versions). Anyway, decided to try to newest version- and still horrible. Locked up four times in a half hour so deleted it. Went back to using Google Chrome which is faster and had not never crashed.
I have installed Firefox 10 yet because I have wanted to see how it’s comports. The latest versions from Firefox were really instable. Maybe I will try it and see if it version it’s ok.
