Microsoft Office 2010 PriceMicrosoft just revealed the upcoming price for Microsoft Office 2010, which should be available some time this year. If you haven’t grabbed the public beta, feel free to download and try Office 2010 beta from Microsoft Office 2010 official site.

Microsoft Office 2010 will have several versions:

  • Office Home and Student
  • Office Home and Business
  • Office Professional
  • Office Professional Academic

As for the Office 2010 pricing:

Office 2010 pricing

  • Office Home and Student boxed product is available in a Family Pack, allowing usage on three PCs in one house
  • Purchase rights for Office Home and Business, Office Professional, and Office Professional Academic boxed product allow for usage on two of your PCs.
  • The Product Key Card is valid for a single installation of the product.

Surprisingly the Home and Student version costs N6,500 about $4o over here in Nigeria.

$40? That’s pretty cheap :) But I guess the economy there must be different than here or most western countries

For some reason, I feel goods sent here are subsidized cos compared to prices overseas they cost less. Cell phones and computers ain’t left out either. I wonder why!

I am currently using Ubuntu as well as Win Vista. But I just don’t wish to leave Ubuntu for Windows. Open Office is really cool man! Why to pay for MS office when you can use a similar software for free?

I know, but most people are already get used to the MS Office that they don’t want to change. I’m more a Windows person than a Linux one (maybe because I play games a lot in Windows :D )
