OPPO just announced a new partnership with JB Hi-Fi (saying goodbye officially to Dick Smith‘s partnership) that will place OPPO mobile devices on the shelf for JB Hi-Fi customers to play on and purchase.
Customers will see the OPPO R7s (check out Craving Tech’s OPPO R7s Review), R7 Plus, F1 and the new OPPO R9 at JB Hi-Fi stores (including online) starting from 9th of May 2016. The new R9 Plus will follow after some time in June.
With JB Hi-Fi retail stores popularity in Australia, OPPO has made the right move to further introduce their devices to the Australian market (OPPO officially went into the Australian market back in 2014). This definitely helps OPPO to build their brand further in Australia – which is great because they make awesome & affordable devices, yet not many Australians are aware of the brand (or that you can buy their devices here in Australia).
The new OPPO R9 was also announced officially, a new device with 16 MP front-facing Hi-Light Camera for those selfies and a cool fingerprint sensor that recognises your fingerprint and unlocks the phone in just 0.2 seconds!
And of course, it supports OPPO VOOC Flash Charge that charges OPPO device’s battery from 0 to 75% in half an hour. The OPPO R9 will retail at AU $599.
