Razer Megasoma Review

Razer Megasoma is a hybrid of a hard and a soft mouse mat; If you love the softness of a soft mat but want to have the speed of a hard mat, Razer Megasoma delivers (this is debatable and I guess more like a personal preference). Razer Megasoma sits somewhere in between, combining the best [...]

Two New features from Gmail Labs

Two new features from the Gmail team: embedding images on your email and seeing the current time of the email sender’s. The latter is a very handy feature especially since I’m dealing with lots of advertisers/bloggers around the world. It’s good to know whether they are still awake or whether I should expect any reply within the day.

These 2 features can be enabled on the Lab settings (the apparatus icon on top of your Gmail’s dashboard).

For the release news, check out the posts on Gmail’s blog: Inserting images on Gmail and Check email sender’s timezone.

The image feature is cool, but the time zone feature may not be so useful. I don’t know how to configure my timezone, so my email time may show incorrectly.

I’m surprised they’re only just allowing images to be embedded in emails. You would think that is one of the first features they would incorporate into the system.

I’m pretty sure the right words are : “Not yet!”. We’ll see more interesting in the future. I think they also allow you to embed YouTube videos on the email now and you can see it straight (if I’m not mistaken)

The best apart about Gmail is that it is still in beta phase, I wonder when Gmail will come out of beta phase,
