iiNet is one of the largest ISP (Internet Service Provider) here in Australia and it’s been more than a month that they’ve been going on and off trial. iiNet was accused to let its internet users downloading illegal movies through the BitTorrent and not doing anything about it. Today, they’ve actually won the case with a reason that they are merely prodiving a legitimate service (internet connectivity) and it’s not their fault if people are “abusing” it.
I guess if iiNet lost this case, they’re going to start sueing other ISP around the world too?
