A post from LiveSide.net indicates that Windows Live Hotmail’s storage has gone to 500 GB in limit. I personally can’t imagine why you need that many unless if you are storing music files or whatever “backup” on your email inbox.
For example, I have about 13,000 emails on my Gmail account and it’s only using 388 MB at the moment. But hey, maybe if you are working in the design industry or in civil engineering, you probably need to transfer and store megabytes of file samples? Who knows. Anyway, it’s free and it doesn’t hurt to have more than you need.

that’s marketing tactics…they said they will give 500GB with knowing that in reality, no one’s gonna use that much..haha…but still, people will be tempted to sign up for one anyway !

Yeah. Imagine when some million users decide to use 400 GB of their inbox all at the same time. That should teach them a lesson!
The only other question is, is the email size limit increased also?
I haven’t used Hotmail for ages now but the 10MB limit was pathetic.
That’s a good question. The only time I use Hotmail is for my Windows Live Messenger account (and for my Windows Live access) so I have no idea whether they have increased their attachment limit
Really? I did not find this message in my hotmail box. Actually I never noticed how much the storage of hotmail. I think it is enough for me.
