I was assigned to do some video shooting and movie editing for our church’s Christmas play last month (which went well, by the way). I did a lot of Googling, especially trying to find out on how to create those blue (or green) screen holywood-style effects. The green screen part didn’t go pretty well because of poor lighting (we didn’t have enough budget yet to buy a 500W of work light). Nevertheless, I’ve found a nice site that gives you some free video backgrounds.
The site is MovieTools Info. They have news opener videos (which I assume are the most popular or on-demand video clips nowadays), flags, some energy swirling backgrounds, and other free video backgrounds.
If you have found other good and free resources, please feel free to share in the comments section below!
