Traffic details:
- Search Traffic: 106,445 visitors.
- Referral Traffic: 8,476 visitors.
- Direct Traffic: 8,095 visitors.
- Other: 108 visitors.
February 2012 Traffic Sources Breakdown
Total Newsletter subscribers: 330, from 316 on the month before.
Total Facebook fans: 1,894, compared to 1,755 on the month before.
Still a steady amount of traffic here at Craving Tech. I was trying to bookmark a couple of post back in February via Reddit and the result wasn’t too bad. I do need to be more active in that community though as people seemed to recognise when I start “spamming” my articles, even if it’s only a few chosen ones.
I’ve also switched to the new Facebook Timeline on the Facebook Page; Please “Like” Craving Tech on Facebook if you haven’t to stay updated with tech goodies and freebies!
You probably wondered why you didn’t see the “Income statistics” being mentioned on the title. I regret to inform you that I won’t be reporting that anymore starting from this month. I know it’s a disappointment to some of you who have been following this blog for many years before.
A couple of reasons I stop doing this are privacy as my blog’s income grows steadily each month and also because it’s a headache to maintain all these numbers. Since I maintain a different report for the taxation, it becomes more tedious. For example, I fetched my income report (say, Google AdSense) from last month and added on my stats post. However, I don’t get the money until a couple of weeks later – which is why I maintain 2 different reports. Not to mention that I have to convert between GBP, USD, and AUD.
I’ll still do traffic statistic posts for now though, so hopefully you are still interested to see this post every now and then.
