I have tried dropping 300 EC's for 4 days, then I stopped. It was then that I was no. 3 in the EC business category because of that - 210 EC's to advertise, but now it's back to 115 EC's. I am back to my normal 30-60 EC drops a day. That's all I can do given the limited time I got, plus, I always try to read the posts before jumping on another site. My entrecard blog directory already have several blogs listed in there, plus my EC inbox, I have already enough sites to drop. Maybe its time to discourage chaindropping. But I must admit its thru EC that I stumbled lots of useful blogs.

<em>Roel's last blog post..<a href='http://bloggista.com/2008/03/03/bloggistas-first-50-days-online-earnings-stats/' rel="nofollow">Bloggista's first 50 days, online earnings and stats</a></em>

The amount it takes to advertise on my site dropped from 176 to 138 after I stopped dropping EC cards last week. So now I am beginning to think its really not worth the amount of effort you need to put in- because the EC traffic, after the initial spike and influx of new readers, tends to be the same group of people who are not interested in your blog but are just power card droppers.

Thanks guys, the traffic is nothing to be proud of, really. Lots of people out there get tons of traffic on the first month of their blogging.

Roel, I've got about 85% bounce rate for Entrecard's traffic in total. 59.08% bounce rate for traffic that comes from the search engines. So Entrecard's bounce rate is high, mainly because some people do chain drops daily. A traffic is a traffic though, and you can only hope that the droppers read at least your top post, stop, and read it

Wow, I envy those direct traffics you got. Did the Entrecard traffic affected your bounce rate? When I looked at most entrecard users' blogs, bounce rates are really way way more than what the experts are saying should be the threshold - about 20 - 30%.

Your traffic is awesome. I guess I need to post what mine was for this past month. I just officially got started in Feb 2008 and have been committed to it all month. Of course, I will be back for more on your blog.
