Under Setup-> Antivirus and Antispyware -> Edit Exclusions (left hand column of NOD32 GUI), you can set files or folders to exclude from scanning...

be sure to enable "Advanced Mode" from User Interface (at the top of NOD32 GUI)

I've been using Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 since last six months. I must admit, it is one of the finest products out there. But I must also admit that its customer support is the worst (as far as my case is concerned), the options are confusing and the help file provided contains obsolete material.

I also downloaded the trial version of ESET Antivirus. It is true that Nod32 Anti-Virus is very smooth on system resources. Interface is clear, intuitive and smooth. It never hangs even while you are doing multi-tasking. As far as detection is concerned, I've seen it missing few trojans but I must say the product is very good. I'll definitely try ESET Internet Security once my Kaspersky Internet Security license expires.

Rohit´s last blog post..Surviving the catastrophe. Remote backup service, your rescue boat.
