ESET NOD32 4.0 Beta 1 Available for download

by Michael Aulia on 29 November, 2008 in Software Release

NOD32NOD32 is one of the best antivirus program from ESET. I’ve tried it in the past and it’s so light-weighted and powerful that I decided to use it for a while.

A public beta of NOD32 version 4 (among with the other ESET products like the Smart Security) has been released earlier for the public to try and test.

Most Betas from ESET are pretty stable (from my experience in the past). So if you are still using a free antivirus (like Avast or AVG), try NOD32 and start scanning your system. You’ll probably find a few more trojans that didn’t get picked up before.

Of course, you can always uninstall the Beta and go back to your free antivirus once the beta is over.

Check out the ESET Beta Program page for more details and to dowload NOD32 v4.0 Beta 1.

I’ve been having security issues lately, not sure why? I have paid good security too. Will check it out, though I find the freebie stuff usually meh.

Well NOD32 is not actually free, but since the v4.0 is still in beta, it is, until the final/retail has been released
