Well it may have hurt in some ways, as the links come from Entrecard sites that may or may not be related to my blog’s niche. Although I think it’s better to have many unrelated links rather than none at all

I questioned how Google might respond to this “advertising” and linking, and then I checked your linkage on Google. Entrecard does not negatively affect how Google ranks your site or lists the associated links. And may help, in fact. So, it’s a good thing!

This is a great one! Really! I’ve never heard of Entrecard before and it would be a waste to miss out such a good advertisement opporunity. So thanks very much!
I don’t say I understood everything, but I get the idea, and I like to expore these things on my own, so tomorrow I’m definitely joining the program.
