I know that most Dyson products can cater well for pet hairs (I don't have one so I can't give my own opinion on this one). If you suffer a back problem you might want to get the Dyson with the big yellow ball so you don't have to bow down too often. Forgot the model number though, you might want to browse through the range of products

I have 3 dogs, couches thus full of hair. I have a Conti 1700watt vacuum cleaner now, but it' not sufficient with the pet hair. I also have back problems. Any advise on obtainang a Dyson before I spent so much?

Wow, that is quite a strong statement. I'm sure there's something wrong with your Dyson unit. Because it is by far the best vacuum with sucking power I've ever had. I have 3 other friends bought Dyson too because of my recommendations

Maybe you should try exchanging the unit? I'm really curious!

I have a dyson vacuum cleaner and it's by far the worst vacuum cleaner I've ever owned! Every time I use it, it makes strange frightening noises and doesn't have hardly any sucking power. It's also hard to manoevre and take apart. Complex and ugly to look at, too, I would rather buy another make, even if I had to spend quite a bit more. I usually am better off using a dustpan and brush. I works better. But it's the very poor sucking power that really annoys me.
