Every time I use it, it makes strange frightening noises and doesn't have hardly any sucking power. It's also hard to manoevre and take apart. Complex and ugly to look at, too, I would rather buy another make, even if I had to spend quite a bit more. I usually am better off using a dustpan and brush. I works better. I'm living in a 2 bedroom apartment and I love using the vacuum. However, I was wondering how small the power nozzle really is. It is noticeably tiny? I am living in a four bedroom apartment, so I'm guessing this may fit my needs...it's just the 9" wide power nozzle that makes me hesitate to make the switch (it's 9" wide according to Dyson US specs....I have yet to see on in person). Does it also feel too light to the point where it wont deep clean deep pile carpets? Thanks, Keith.
