As far as I can remember, You can put a -dx9 parameter on the Crysis shortcut to force it to play in DirectX 9 mode (I remember I did it on the demo last time @Windows Vista)

Do you love me forever now? lol

I have the demo on my computer and it looks amazing. Big problem though. I have a DX10 card, and I want to run the game in Dx9 but I have no clue how to get it to do that. I have a Radeon 2600XT HD 256Mb of video memory. I probably should have gotten the 512. I figured I'd be able to run the game with settings beefed up all the way and resoluton turned down (I don't need high resolutions :D), but even on the lowest resolution it tears my card a new one. Dx10 ruins my game performances by up to 20 frames. Unbelievable for just a few small changes. If anyone knows how I can force Crysis off Dx10 and on Dx9 on the demo version only I'll love you forever. Lmao. I can run Jericho, Ut3, Lost Planet, Bioshock and all that shit perfect on Dx9 with at least 30 fps. But Dx10 throws it down to like 7 and 8. Pitiful. I was very disappointed with the performance of Crysis.
