PageRank update 2010

A present from Google for CravingTech.com indeed, a PageRank of 4 from nothing (the domain was only about 2 months old). Thanks to Diabetis, a reader of mine who notified me about the PageRank update on this blog yesterday. With a PageRank 4 and Alexa Rank of 77,286, I feel confident that this blog has a great future ahead of it in 2010 ;)

How about yours? Has Google updated your PageRank yet? (and yeah, yeah I know we shouldn’t worry about the  PR and all, but the truth remains, you’ll get more private advertisers if you’ve got a good PR!)

By the way, the screenshot above was taken using Popuri.us, a web service to check Google PageRank and Alexa Rank.

Well I get PR3 on my 3 month old domain. It look like you done a better job or you are in with good neighbors in your server. Anyway, congrats and wish you a huge success in future.

Thanks, Arafat. I’m pretty sure my Office 2010 beta screenshots helped a lot in achieving this rank (it was linked by a few major sites like CNET, ZDNet, etc)

Congrats to you, Mike. You deserved it. :-) Too bad for me because I don’t what went wrong that I don’t get my PR until today. It remains PR0! :-(

Ouch… perhaps you put a few links to bad neighbourhood in the past somehow or maybe did some paid to post thing and upset Google? :(

Gloson 2 January, 2010 at 1:07 am

Hi Michael. My blog, Gloson Blog, is still PR4. I guess I need to post more quality articles frequently. LOL ;-) .

Anyways, congrats to you on getting a PR4 and a high alexa ranking (it’s higher than me!).

Hey Gloson, you are already doing great in achieving a PR4, it’s not easy! I’m sure you can catch up with the Alexa ranking in no time ;)

My domain is abouttt a year old (to be honest, I’m surprised I’ve stayed with it this long) and, as of 10 minutes ago, I have a PR of 3, which isn’t so bad, I suppose. Regardless, Nice job, Michael :D I hope this year brings you a ton of readers.

I’m still a PR2 on mine but good thing is a lot of my individual pages and posts are getting their own PR as well. Maybe the next update will be better for me.
