Craving Tech goes live today! I’ve done a permanent redirection from my old blog’s URL at http://www.michaelaulia.com/blogs to here. It’ll be some time before Google notices this change so I’ll sit still and stay tight! Meanwhile at your end, please update all your bookmarks (especially the RSS Feed because I’ve changed the feed address).
So to summarize this post:
- My new RSS Feed address is @ http://feeds.feedburner.com/CravingTech. Subscribe to this great blog if you haven’t
If you prefer to get my latest posts via email, subscribe to CravingTech via email. - My Twitter is still the same: http://twitter.com/michaelaulia. Follow me if you haven’t as I’ve been more active now since I’ve got some real friends in there
(thanks, Nuffnang guys & the great bloggers I’ve met in Singapore last month)
If you’ve been my readers for months (or even years), I’d appreciate if you spread this new domain on some social bookmarking sites. So please do stumble, Digg, mixx, tweet, and any other things you can think of to help me spread this great new ‘empire’
And of course, as always, thank you for all of your support to this blog and to myself personally. Looking forward for a greater year ahead!

You’re probably the first!
Congrats on your move.
Just to let you know, your site doesn’t have any ranking.
Yeah, not yet. It’s only been alive for hours!
Give it a few days or weeks hehe
Congrats to you, buddy! Hope you achieve greater success with new domain.
Wow, I’ve missed your previous post so imagine the shock I have when I entered. ^^ Good for you Michael, this is a big step for you. I wish you a great success ahead. Updated my feed! Looking forward to your new change.

Social/Blogging Tracker
To kept all your subscriber,no need change the RSS feed address, use back the old one.
Then log in to feedburner, click ‘edit feed details’,look for ‘Original Feed’ item, edit it for your new blog original feed and save it.That all.
So,next time change new domain name again, just edit the ‘Original Feed’ item only.
Hope can help you.
Hi, thanks for the advice! But I’d rather have the feed under the new one /CravingTech rather than the old name (/MichaelAulia) so that it will not be tied to my personal name
i updated my blog list with your new domain.
congratulation for the change..
have all of your visitors install the alexa toolbar. boost your rankings!
Or do a post about web design tips because most designers have the Alexa Rank Toolbar installed (some bloggers say, can’t confirm it though)
Hey Michael Congratulation for New domain and I know from long you have been planning to make the move to more niche specific domain.
Good to see you on a complete new name . Lil Question Is it a SEO friendly redirection?
Regards
Harsh
Hey Harsh, thanks
After blogging for a year I realize that I post more Technology posts compared to blogging tips (or even movie reviews! – which I’m suck at it)
As for the SEO Friendly redirection, yes it is
I’ve done my research (hopefully well). I did the 301 redirection on the .htaccess file on my old domain michaelaulia.com/blogs
I will update bookmark and subscribe to this feed.
Hi michael..nice to see you have moved to a new domain…and yes make sure to keep google happy…and yes id like to ask the same lil question asked harsh..is it a seo friendly redirection…
Haha it sounds sad to make Google happy but we’ve got not choice
My answer is on my reply to Harsh. Thanks for the concern
