The only drawback of having an iPad (or iPad 2) is the touch-screen keyboard. No matter how expert you are at typing with the touch-screen keyboard, I bet I can type faster than you with a physical keyboard. The ClamCase includes a built-in Bluetooth keyboard to help you out when you need to type that documents or write a blog post. The keyboard is battery powered (like other iPad 2 keyboard cases) but can easily be recharged and have a long battery life (according to the product page).

The ClamCase automatically wakes and sleeps your iPad 2
The ClamCase supports the sleep function so when you open the case up, your iPad 2 wakes up (just like the Apple’s SmartCover). Close the ClamCase down and your iPad 2 goes to sleep. Really practical.
The ClamCase can be transformed into a stand or folded back
There are three ways to use the ClamCase:
- Like a notebook (as shown on the photos earlier)
- Transformed into a stand – to watch movies or play games without any distractions (as if you put your iPad 2 onto an iPad 2 stand)
- Folded back so you can hold it while you do that “number 2” in the toilet and read your e-magazines or when you miss the way you used to hold the iPad 2 before you get the ClamCase
Would be interesting to know how long the battery will last (the Bluetooth keyboard) and whether it adds some significant weight.
