Why becoming a product reviewer is not as easy as you thought – Part 1

I had a bit of discussion with a friend of mine a few days ago. She said how lucky I am (because I’ve been getting those wonderful gadgets to try and review on) and how easy it is to review those “free” review products. I tried to defend myself and told her that it wasn’t [...]

Blood test and your water level?

Blood Test SampleI was about to get my blood tested today (I had a very high triglyceride level). The funny thing was that the nurse couldn’t find my vein. She tried both of my arms and according to her, I need to drink more water as I’m kinda dehydrated and that prevents the vein from appearing.

I’ve never heard of this, but she seems confident, so I don’t doubt her at all. Besides, I’d rather come back another time than letting her play the guess-and-poke game on my arms!

So yeah, just to let you know, in case you are going to have your blood taken, remember to drink lots of water to make the process easier :)

Guess I’ll start to drink more water now for a whole week before going back to the clinic again.

Are you alright Michael? Is that only for a general check up or something else? Sorry, I’m just curious. I hope there is nothing wrong with you. BTW it’s a usefull info because actually I just knew that we have to drink alot of water before taking a blood test.

I got a blood test a while ago and the nurse said that my vein were extremely small too… However, the results came out reporting that i was extremely healthy. So there is thus no need to worry about it!!!

Hey, thanks for the concern.

As mentioned on the post, I had a high triglyceride level (that’s the amount of fat in your blood :D ). The normal level is around 150-200. Mine was 500 last October lol

I need to get back to the clinic before deciding whether I’m okay or not (the high triglyceride level)..

I twisted my ankle yesterday when playing badminton and couldn’t walk at all now..my right leg is in pain :(
