That's a really good point - cause once you actually get a REAL .com domain name, whether it's won from a contest or bought, you truly realize that it's actually worth something more than just a Freewebs and then you realize that now that you've got it, you've got to make it into a worthy website! :D But really, that's not the only reason - I really do love Freewebs when you need to create a free and quick website. Much better than something like Piczo or Weebly. A better reason is that you really need to choose a topic that you're passionate about - that you feel you can write about at least once a week - and obviously, the topic I chose for that website was not the best one for that. You get bored of stuff now and then, and that becomes a problem... Another reason why some people abandon their websites is also because their website might be like a weekly newsletter or something, and the owner can't keep up with publishing a new edition every week... But no, I'm not continuing with that website - I'd love to, but only if I had all the time in the world and every single day of the year free for me to do whatever I wish!
