I'm not an Apple fan, but I did like the look of this one. However the shortcomings you mention probably make it not worthwhile to use. I think I'll wait for something else to come along of similar size but more functional. Ian's last blog post..Goose

I switched to a MAC last year after being a PC person for 25 years. Was it a great Switch? I think so without a doubt. I have become a person that I used to hate. A Mac Fanboy. Now on the subject of the New Mac Laptop, at this point, I agree with everything that you said as far as it's short comings. I see it as a computer that would be cool to visit Internet coffee shops with and maybe blogging on the road. Other than that, No DVD drive.... not for me. You don’t focus on Apple because they don’t focus on gaming? They now have the Intel processor allowing you to bootcamp Windows allowing you to … yes, play games.
