Gmail Priority Inbox – does it work?

Priority Inbox on sidebar

As mentioned by Google a few days ago, they are rolling the Gmail’s Priority Inbox feature to everyone this week. Today, I saw the update on my Gmail (on the top right of the screen). Excited, I decided to turn it on, change a few settings, and “tested” it (What’s Priority Inbox?). My first impression [...]

A gift from the Australian government

by Michael Aulia on 11 May, 2009 in Geek's Ramblings

australian-stimulus-packageI finally got my cheque today from the Australian government. In case you haven’t heard, the Australian government had decided to send away some money to Australian tax payers to improve the economy of Australia.

Based on your salary, you can get up to AU$900 – which is basically what I’ve got today in a cheque, yay!

Some people of course, have decided to spend the money in gambling (what an idiot?!) and some spend it to either pay their mortgages or buy new stuffs to pamper themselves.

Since the money was given to help the Australia economy, I’m wondering what I should spend the money for :P Any ideas?

mate..

the stimulus is distributed to you with purpose – to boost aussie economy… which means spend more with that amount to get the economy cycle rolling… :P

well i suggest to spend it efficiently and accurately… accurate here means give a hand to those who really in need. ‘who’ is really up to your discretion. ;)

I already have a few percentage of my earnings that go to certain charities and a sponsor child :) But I guess it’s never enough for charities

invest it (yes im that boring uncle who says invest your cash and save it)!

Though seriously invest it shares of a new company / premium bonds or invest it in a new computer or a ‘Drobo’ (google it!)…or as your a gamer D-Link gaming router….or replace your primary HDD with a SSD…the list can go on :p
