3DMark 11 is out!

The most popular benchmark, 3DMark, has just released its latest version, 3DMark 11. 3DMark 11 makes extensive use of all the new features in DirectX 11 including tessellation, compute shaders and multi-threading. For the past years, 3DMark has been the most popular video card benchmarking software ever made. If you have a good graphic card, this is a good chance to stress test and also see what your card is capable of!

Note: DirectX 11 cards only. Check a sample of the videos below.

All these videos are rendered real-time (when you run 3DMark 11) by your graphic card.

I still remember back in the 90’s when Max Payne was out and its bullet freeze (a la Matrix) was so popular back then. Had a good test with one of the 3DMark version back then.

Running 3DMark over and over again is also good to stress test your new video card, to make sure that the card is not a faulty one.
